Talking Bibles is dedicated to serving the Great Commission as commanded by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The ministry, an ECFA-accredited 501(c)3 charitable organization, provides leaders in communities of oral learners with “talking” Bibles, God’s spoken Word, in their native languages. The ministry trains leaders to use “talking” Bibles to share the good news of Christ. These Bibles allow leaders to nurture their congregations and reach out to unbelievers. This approach equips indigenous non-readers to become church leaders, pastors, and missionaries to their own communities.

Our mission is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ by producing audio recordings of translated Scriptures in hundreds of languages and making these recordings accessible in the form of Talking Bibles for millions of people around the world who cannot read.

Our mission stems from a strong conviction that everyone in the world needs access to the Bible. The purpose of Talking Bibles is to give non-readers and the blind access to the Bible in their native language.

Talking Bibles International is committed to serving the Christian community as well as the non-Christian world.

We serve non-readers by providing individuals, churches and Christian organizations with Talking Bibles in many languages as well as the worldwide church through our efforts to produce and archive audio recordings of the New Testament and the entire Bible.

We serve the mission community through our recording studios, backpack studios, field expertise and experience in producing, archiving and distributing audio Scriptures.

We serve the non-Christian world through the provision of audio Scriptures via the Internet, a library of recordings and the production of special recordings of selected scriptures.

Talking Bibles International is accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) accreditation is based on financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance, and ethical fundraising. Talking Bibles joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited by the ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of Biblical accountability and its commitment to follow best practice standards in ministry and fundraising.

Giving With Confidence

When you give to an ECFA accredited organization, you are supporting organizations you can trust to use the gift to carry out the Great Commission while meeting high standards. ECFA does not compare one member with another. For over 30 years, ECFA has effectively used a pass-fail approach requiring its members to meet all of its standards – all of the time! Watch this video about the standards that ECFA judges its accredited members.

Our staff is supported all over the world by many generous volunteers.
