The ministry provides leaders in global communities of oral learners with “talking” Bibles in their native languages. We work with them to select homes that could be a central meeting place for neighbors to listen to the Word of God. Indigenous church planters encourage willing people in these homes to start a "listening Bible stud group" with a Talking Bible. These groups start small then grow as friends and family join in. Listeners discuss what they hear and ask questions at the end of each Bible study session. The church planter provides pastoral care and responds to unanswered questions the next time they visit the listening Bible study group. This relaxed approach builds trust and a sense of community.
