The need is great. The window is open. We need your help to send Talking Bibles to India NOW.
You can read. But many in the world cannot. They can’t read a Bible and may never learn about God’s love and mercy. The Talking Bible can change that. Below is a story about Nagaraju who became a Christian by listening to a Talking Bible and now uses his Talking Bible to share the Good News with others.
Nagaraju is a fisherman from India. He works on a mechanized trawler with five other men in the Bay of Bengal.
He has been working since he was a youth and never had a formal education. He cannot read.
Two years ago, he received a Talking Bible. He began listening to the Bible for the first time in his life. He heard the Good News and now confesses that Jesus is his Lord and Savior.
Nagaraju has been baptized and no longer worships other gods.
He listens to his Talking Bible in his native language of Telugu every day with his family. Nagaraju is growing in his faith and attends church in his fishing village located on the Bay of Bengal on the east coast of India.
Since becoming a Christian, Nagaraju uses his Talking Bible so others can hear the Good News about Jesus Christ. His wife and two children are now believers. They have been baptized. His mother listens to the Talking Bible with the family every day.
Nagaraju also uses his Talking Bible to reach out to others. He says, “The Talking Bible creates interest because people have not seen anything like it, and this give me an opportunity to share with them about Jesus. I play the Talking Bible and share my testimony of what Jesus has done for me.”
What a wonderful opportunity for a man like Nagaraju, who has had little education and cannot read, to be able to share the love of God with his family, friends, and neighbors, thanks to a Talking Bible.
There are many fishermen in many villages in India. They are living in darkness and need to hear God’s Word.
The opportunity is now. They are ready to hear.
Please give a gift today to provide Talking Bibles to the people in the fishing villages along the Bay of Bengal. We have families waiting for their chance to listen. We have people eager to share God’s love with those around them if they could have access to God’s Word.
